Release Terry Mc Cafferty !

Terry McCafferty is an Irish POW, who had his license revoked after serving 6 years in Maghaberry gaol. His license was revoked by the Secretary of State and he was taken back to gaol just days before his first Christmas with his young family in 6 years, he had only been released a few weeks. There has been no explanation from the Secretary of State Paul Goggins as to why his license was revoked.
We have little doubt that there is no reason for Terry's license to be revoked and we believe it may be a spiteful reaction to the release of the Derry Four. It is quite clear that M15 did not get the result they wanted in the Special Criminal Court in Dublin and they have ordered that Terry be imprisoned due to the fact he has been recently released and his first Christmas with his family for years. It was designed to cause maximum misery to Republicans.
The 32 County Sovereignty Movement call on all Republicans to unite to ensure that this spiteful action be overturned immediately.
Derry 4 freed !

The court heard during the trial that the four men were arrested the day after a IRA press conference which was filmed by the BBC in the Creggan area of the city. A Detective Garda identified two of the accused, Gary Donnelly and Martin O'Neill as men photographed in the background of the press conference given by three masked men.
The four Derry City men are Gary Donnelly (aged 38), Kildrum Gardens, Michael Gallagher (aged 28), Sackville Court, Martin Francis O'Neill (aged 40) , Colmcille Court, and Patrick John McDaid (aged 38), Marlborough St.
They had pleaded not guilty to membership of an unlawful organisation styling itself the Irish Republican Army, otherwise Oghlaigh na hEireann, otherwise the IRA, on March 16.
Today prosecuting counsel Mr Patrick Marrinan SC told the three judge non-jury court that his instructions were to enter a nolle prosequi at this stage of the trial. This means that the State is not proceeding with the prosecution.
After the State’s application, Mr Justice Paul Butler, presiding , discharged the four men and they left the dock. They hugged and greeted friends and family after their discharge.
The State’s decision came after the court ruled that the initial detention of the four men when their car was stopped by a Garda Sergeant at Bridgend in Co Donegal was unlawful and that their subsequent arrest was therefore unlawful.
Mr Marrinan told the court at the opening of the trial that the State would be relying on the opinion evidence of Chief Superintendent Terry Mc Ginn and that this would be corroborated by other evidence, including the failure of the men to answer questions when interviewed after their arrest.
The court heard that seven men, including four BBC journalists, were arrested on the night of March 15 and that garda seized digital video cameras and tapes which when processed showed 52 minutes of an interview with three men wearing balaclavas and combat jackets.
One of the masked men was carrying an AK 47 assault rifle and the men told the BBC they were representatives of the leadership of Oglaigh na hEireann.
Hell in a Lithuanian Jail

Irish republican POW Michael Campbell
It has been nine months since Lithuanian authorities arrested and imprisoned Michael Campbell, brother of Irish republican ex-POW Liam Campbell, and left him to a hellish existence in a Vilnius prison. He has been held the entire time with no charges.During the duration of his internment, his family has been prevented from visiting him. A family member who traveled to Lithuania from Ireland to attend a court hearing in his case was removed from the courtroom. Michael is also barred phone contact with his family and loved ones, and has only been able to keep contact with them in a few letters home. Over the entirety of the past nine months, no-one has been allowed see Michael but his lawyers. The situation in which he is being held is appalling. Irish prisoners' welfare activists tell us "He is being held in a cell with three other prisoners, none of whom speak any English and who spend their time smoking drugs. Michael has to keep his head at a broken window to get fresh air. The only toilet is a hole in the ground. The prison food is inedible and the conditions under which he is being held are appalling."
Anti internment protest in Derry :
The anti internment protest held in Derry was a huge success and sent out a message to those who implement internment that we as a people can stand idly by and allow it to happen.Internment by remand or internment through subtlety has been introduced by the free state government as a sop to their cohorts in Westminster to jail innocent Irish republicans.
People travelled from far reaching destinations to let it be known that this will not be swept under the carpet, that these draconian laws which have been proven to be unworkable in the past will be resisted, and that injustice and discrimination directed toward Irish Republicans will not be tolerated.
The 32csm,Republican Network for Unity and the I.R.S.P were well represented in this initiative together with republicans from Derry and afar who voted with their presence in solidarity with the prisoners and their families.
